I had the opportunity to visit the recent Book Expo in Los Angeles, as a guest of my publisher, Seven Locks Press, and came across several books of interest during the convention. I'd like to share a few with you:

1) Christmas Presence, published by Seven Locks, it features inspiring stories of "gifts" that are more than they seem. By Gregory F. Augustine Pierce.

2) Heaven Can Wait, Surviving Cancer, also by Seven Locks, written by Charlie Jones and Kim Doren

3) You Were Born Under a Funny Sign, Seven Locks, written by Marylin Hudson. I've lectured for years at the Round Table West literary luncheons held by Margaret Burk and Marylin Hudson -- Marylin has entertained audiences there for years with her humorous "take" on astrological signs. Not intended to be a serious study of astrology, but it's an amusing book!

Also, look for Are the Stars Out Tonight? by Margaret Burk, a delightful collection of photos and text about the world-famous Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles.

4) Stand by Me, a Holistic Handbook for Animals and People, written by Douglas E. Kneueven, DVM, published by A.R.E. Press.

5) Ghost Tales from the Ghost Trail by C.L. Shore, published by CeShore Publishing Company.

6) Open Your Mind, Open Your Life, a book of Eastern Wisdom, by Taro Gold and published by Andrews McMeel Publishing -- a delightful gift book.

7) Confessions of the World's Greatest Gate Crasher by Charlie Jones and Dino Rich, published by Seven Locks Press. It's a fun book for those interested in celebrities.
