Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best: "What you are speaks to me so loudly that I cannot hear what you are saying." This is a beautiful explanation of reading an aura.

What is an aura? It's a magnetic field of energy, surrounding the body but not touching it. The Aura is separated by perhaps an inch or two from the actual physical body. Auras come in various sizes, colors and levels of intensity.

We are not born with an aura; it is formed when we take our first sip of liquid or mother's milk. Our reaction to this experience establishes our first aura, whether it's positive or negative.

The aura from then on reflects our personality traits - our mental, physical and emotional health. Auras appear in many different colors, depending on conditions at the time. A bright or light-colored aura indicates positive aspects and a cheerful person. Dark shades indicate low energy, negative conditions or perhaps depression.

Auras do change as we react to what is happening around us. The change may be slight or dramatic, but no one can hide their true aura. It's like a cloak we cannot shrug off.

I incorporate aura reading into my private readings and lecture appearances. If someone says they want to go into sales, for example, I can check to see whether they are suited to this profession. An orange aura would indicate an outgoing personality; someone who is persuasive and able to talk convincingly to people, even strangers. Seeing an orange aura, then, would help me quickly give the person advice on their ability to sell.

If everyone could learn to read an aura it would help every aspect of their lives. We would choose loving partners who were sensitive, had a sense of humor, or fulfilled whatever we felt our needs were. Employers would choose workers with perhaps a pink aura, meaning they were career-oriented, or a red aura meaning they were full of energy. And employees would learn to steer clear of bosses with a maroon aura, knowing they'd have the potential to be a twenty four carat slave driver!

Kenny's Warning to Princess Diana

In 1991, I was asked by the Daily Star newspaper in the United Kingdom to do aura readings for several prominent people. Among them was Princess Diana. My reading of the Princess indicated her aura was light green and she was in need of and receiving some healing. Other aspects of the reading were proven chillingly accurate, as I'm often reminded by reporters or others who saw the article.

Keep in mind, Sweet Spirits, that this reading was done before it became known that Diana gave the book material to writer Andrew Morton. (a daring action she regretted a lifetime, I'm sure); it was before her bulimia became public knowledge (I had been even more descriptive in my reading, saying her weakest point was her colon, but the newspaper made changes, saying it was too close the truth).

I often give lucky periods during aura readings, in addition to warnings about danger periods. My warning to Diana was that her danger period would be July through November, and that she should be careful around fast-moving cars. This became all too true when the Princess passed in a fast-moving car in August, 1997.

Much good can come from an aura reading, including a better understanding of yourself.
